About Me

Hank Hanson

Hi. I’m Hank Hanson. I consider myself pretty much an average guy except when it comes to dogs. I’ve always loved dogs, and I can’t remember a time when I was growing up that our family didn’t have a dog.

I have two dogs now. I don’t “own” dogs; I am their caretaker. But these guys sure think they “own” me, and that’s OK. It works for all of us. Sita is a 6 year old Maltese with the sweetest personality you can imagine but a will of iron. She knows what she wants and she will perservere until she gets her way – but she’s sweet about it. Zevon is a 3 year old half Papillon half Maltese. He’s a kid at heart, always ready to play fetch or tug or stand on my chest when I try to do situps. I would like to adopt a Greyhound, but my wife – who loves dogs as much as I do – says 3 is just too many right now (she’s right).

I know that one day they will both cross the Rainbow Bridge and I will be devestated when they do, but until then I will enjoy every moment with them. I will ensure that they have the best food and supplements I can give them so that they live long, healthy lives.

You feel about your dogs as I do about mine; that’s why you are here. My hope is that you will find the information here useful, that you will learn things you may not have known, and as a result will be able to enhance the quality of life of your dog. If so, then this site is successful and I am happy.

Thanks for visiting, and please come back. I plan to update the site regularly.
